The video quality is fine. I enrolled into palliative care, not hospice care. The whole time, Dr. Fronk asked me what i would like to do before I die with a cold tone. I thought I will receive the support to help to improve sleep. Dr. Fronk said that I should exercise. It’s classic advice, but the thing is with my condition I cannot exercise a lot…I cried a lot after the video visit, and asked my daughter to unenroll me from the program.
Caring down to earth doctor
Dr Fronk is attentive, responsive, remembers facts from previous visits that he can bring to bear on the current issues, and is a great overall doctor to have.
He is a wonderful and supportive doctor.
This was first visit with Fronk. Great experience in all regards: knowledgeable, good listener, helpful, and he came across as intelligent and caring. Great addition to Stanford health care team.

Dr. Fronk is very kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. I’m very grateful for his care.
He is a little too blunt, I was expecting just more kindness. He needs to tone it down a bit.
He was attentive and attended to my problems with good advice. And let me know he was there for me in the future. I felt very taken care of.

He is a wonderful doctor.
Dr Joshua Fronk is very caring and dedicated doctor. Listening and talking to him makes my stress and anxiety much more bearable.
Dr. Fronk provides excellent care which I refer to when thinking about my next steps. I’ve asked two family if they considered palliative care consultation because they are battling cancer because of my care with Dr. Fronk and his team. Unfortunately, they are outside of California, but they would consider Dr. Fronk. I am grateful for Dr. Funk’s guidance and ability to ask poignant questions for me to consider.
Dr Fronk was excellent- was very pleased with the length of the visit and the thoroughness of his answers.

I love Josh!!! I’m so grateful Dr Johnson told me to see him. He really helps me through every life challenge and my mood is a lot better after our appointments. He’s so funny and always makes me laugh. He’s an amazing doctor and person all around. He also makes sure I’m okay with all my meds and feeling good. He’s not just a doctor to me but also a friend.
Very personable, empathetic, helpful, sincere, friendly, well spoken. However, on the video call, my dad found his movements distracting and would have preferred a regular phone call for his hearing and ability to focus.
Excellent listeners very understanding
Dr Fonk was very competent and straight forward. It is reassuring to have a plan in place for end of life options. Thank you.
