Make an Appointment
You will receive a comprehensive disease assessment at the Stanford University Amyloid Center. Almost all patients will be originally assessed by a specialist in Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, and Cardiology to determine what therapeutic options are best for you.
In addition, you may see physicians in other specialties depending on your amyloid subtype and which organs have amyloid deposits.
New Patients
Please note, to make the scheduling process easier, have the following copies of records prior to scheduling an appointment with our Center. These items include:
- recent labs (including but not limited to serum free light chains, SPEP, UPEP)
- pathology reports from all biopsies related to the amyloid diagnosis
- recent clinical notes from any physician involved with the amyloid diagnosis
- copy of echocardiogram report (if applicable)
Records can be faxed to: (650) 725-1927. You should also fill out the registration form and fax it along with your records. Once you have faxed the items above you can call (650) 725-6186 and make an appointment.
